The Utica Rome Speedway Sponsored Sprint Style Kart.  Pure Racing !!

Trust us when we tell you...its not just talk! We urge you to NEVER compare us to any other track until you have experienced our karts and facility; you won't be disappointed. Canastota Kart Speedway, Inc. works consistently so that their facility and karts are exceptionally maintained and elite to any other. Hey, don't take our word for it, just ask one of our licensed racers, or try it for yourself. Driving our sprint karts truly does take the same skill and technique as it would on a dirt track. With two huge exceptions of course, we are open all year long and its A LOT cheaper.  These are Pure Race Karts; once you have raced with our crew, you will know what we're talking about! Each kart is equipped with a roll cage, four-point safety harness, and helmets are provided. We do not make you wear fire suits and other meaningless uncomfortable "apparel." These are just attempts to raise "hype," and are truly not needed in indoor slick track racing. 

 

Our Nas-Karts are for drivers with a little less experience.  For those who do not meet the height requirement to drive the Nas-Karts, we offer electric and gas kiddy karts for children as young as 3 years of age.

 

The outdoor track is a road course nearly a quarter mile long.  It features NASCAR style karts and double seated Sidewinders  for passengers.

So What's All The Talk About ?

Text Box: Requirements: Sprints - Minimum of 16 years old, (CKS license required*) NasKarts - 58" minimum height Outdoor Karts - 54" minimum height & @least 14 years old Double-seated Sidewinders - 54" to drive alone / 48 - 54" may drive with an adult passenger "Kiddy Karts" - (electric) 3 years old up to 100 pounds * To obtain a CKS License a driver is required to show proof of age and attend a short briefing ( explaining all of Canastota Kart Speedway Rules and Regulations ), that ensures safe operation of our karts.  After completion of this briefing the driver is issued a laminated photo license and entered into our database.  There is a one time cost of $3.00 for the license. If you fail to provide adequate identification you will not obtain a CKS license
